Hello there!

So you’ve discovered my project to help raise funds for my local hospital Addenbrooke’s in Cambridge, which like so many other NHS hospitals is taking care of coronavirus patients.

I’ve been keeping a visual diary (for the first time ever) during this health crisis and I was drawn (no pun intended) to illustrate this apt quote from Florence Nightingale, in order to visually acknowledge the opening of the Nightingale hospitals in the UK.

Like everyone I’ve been very moved by all of those on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic and want to do something to help while I am in isolation. So I’m offering high quality copies of this artwork on a donate-2-download basis…

How to get a copy of the artwork

There are a few easy, little steps to access the artwork. This was the fastest way to get the money directly to Addenbrooke’s.

1) Pop over to www.act4addenbrookes.org.uk and make a donation – as much as you’d like and can afford. Your donation will aid the wellbeing of NHS staff through this difficult time, provide vital equipment needed to support the Intensive Care Unit and much more.

2) Once you’ve got email confirmation of you donation, please forward a copy to me at donate2download@gmail.com
Please remove the reference to the amount of money you gave and your address details – I’m simply trying to ensure that only those who donate – whatever the amount – have access to the artwork.

3) I’ll email you back with a link to download PDFs.

4) Print out the files you’d like to use. Pop the prints wherever you like… in your front window, use them as postcards and send them to friends and family.

 5) If you’ve got time please take a snap on your phone and share on social media tagging @visualsumo

If you have any questions feel free to drop me an email using the email link above.

I’m a passionate creative soul who has always been happiest when either designing, drawing or taking photographs.

I’m a graphic designer with over 20 years experience in creating commercial designs, artwork and visual communication.

My creative answers to commercial and not-for-profit challenges cover: design for licensed fashion merchandise, agency work across multiple clients, packaging and design for print, and product releases and collateral for healthcare and rare disease causes.

I’m in the process of rebuilding my site, so it is a little bare at the moment but more content is on its way.

You’re welcome to contact me and I’ll send you some samples of my work/links via email. In the meantime, my Instagram feed and blog are below.
