I’ve attended 4 printmaking workshops run by my friend John Piper. John and I worked together at Kodak in Harrow, London. He is now teaching Industrial Design at a couple of universities, working as a Fine Art printmaker and runs a printmaking workshops from his studio just outside Cambridge (he is also is a member of Cambridge Open Studios).

All 4 workshops have been great fun, and I have become addicted to printmaking. At the individual workshop, I have been able to build on the skills I’d learned at the previous session. I’ve now brought a very small scale printing press, nicknamed by some printmakers as the ‘handbag press’, so I can experiement more at home.
