The winner of the DECC #backclimateaction image competition was announced today. It was a stunning and haunting black and white photograph taken in the Horn of Africa by James Alexander. Its part of his upcoming exhibition about climate change in London.

I am very pleased to say that my image was selected as one of the 6 runners up and was featured on The Guardian‘s website. It just goes to show what can happen when messing around near muddy puddles with a few toys, a camera and armed with a purpose.
